We at EMCEL Filters pride ourselves on our ability to provide bespoke filter solutions. In early 2015 we were approached by Finning (UK) Ltd to collaborate on a project for a well-known 5* hotel in the South West of England.

This prestigious hotel had a problem that EMCEL Filters comes across quite often – a standard Odour unit would not be suitable for the application. In this case the main difficulty was space, or the lack thereof.

Two members of our  Sales Team, Dave Spraget and Jason Allen, visited the Hotel in order to further understand the challenges and limitations that Finning (UK) Ltd were experiencing.

Our Production team, based in Horsham, swiftly moved into action designing the unique KaterCarb. As in all of our Research and Development work, production only commenced upon approval of EMCEL Design drawings from our clients.

The fitting of the Katercarb was also problematic due to the space restrictions. In order to overcome this EMCEL also designed and manufactured custom installation equipment.
